Prizes and Prize Money
Prize Money
Article: 108
Prize money: Following approval of the results by the Stewards
Committee, prize money is given to the first five prize
winners as follows:
a)
1st winner: 35% of the prize value
b)
2nd winner: 22% of the value.
c)
3rd winner: 20% of the value.
d)
4th winner: 13% of the value.
e)
5th
winner: 10% of the value.
Article: 109
(a) If the winner has
walked over or no horse has been placed 2nd, or in any
lower place the prize money provided by the condition
for the horse placed 2nd or any lower place
shall not be distributed. In these circumstances the
winner will be entitled to the prize money as advertised
for 1st place only.
(b) If different class
horses participate in open race the monetary prize
designated to this race shall be equal to the prize
designated to the highest class horses.
Non-monetary Prizes
Article: 110
The Equestrian Club
may include a Race that has its own non-monetary prizes
such as cars provided by companies and individuals to
winning horse owners.
Article: 111
Owners of grand
stables and government depart- ments' horses can not
participate in races for which cars or special non-monetary
prizes are assigned.
Article: 112
Prize money is assigned and distributed to the four
placed horses in the race as follows:
a)
1st winner: car or non-monetary prize.
b)
2nd place: 50% of the total prize money.
c)
3rd place : 25% of the total prize money.
d)
4th place : 15% of the total prize money.
e)
5th place : 10% of the total prize money.
Article: 113
a)
Horse winning any of non-monetary prizes or special
monetary race cannot participate in the same type of
race in the same season.
b)
A
horse winning an extra race shall have the right to
participate in preliminary &final tack champion race.
Article: 114
On cancellation of non-monetary prizes or cars the race
becomes normal race for the same class. Prize money
shall be estimated by the Club Administration and
offered for that race in lieu, according to the race
class.
