Owners
Article 53
The
Club will maintain a Register of the name of Owners.
Article 54
Only
the following Persons may register as Owners:-
a)
Saudi Arabian
Nationals.
b)
Permanent
Residents
c)
Companies or
Establishments with valid Registration.
Article 55
Owners wishing to race under an assumed or family name
must Register that name with the Equestrian Club prior
to the date fixed for Closing of entries. If an assumed
or family name is Registered, an Owner shall race in
that name only.
Article 56
Every other Owner than those in Article (55) above
shall race in his own name either solely or in a
Partnership.
Article: 57
Companies or Establishment who wish to own horse to race
must register a member of the Syndicate as their
representative. He will then be regarded as the Owner
under these Rules.
Article:
58
An
owner will be assumed to have given his Trainer
authority to act on his behalf under these Rules. Such
authority may be withdrawn at any time but not
retrospectively.
Article: 59
An
Owner shall not be permitted to race more than ten
imported Horses during one Racing Season.
Owners Colors
Article: 60
a)
All owners
register their colors on the special form in the
Registration Office.
b)
No body else can
use the same colors, nor can the colors be changed
without permission of the Stewards Committee. The
Stewards Committee has the right to resolve any dispute
that may arise in this regard.
If
an owner has more than one horse in the same race, his
Jockeys must wear different color caps.
